On Sabbatum, June Cleaver died.

Barbara Billingsley who played the iconic role of June Cleaver on Leave it to Beaver passed away.

Leave it to Beaver originally ran from 1957 to 1963.   It was 239 episodes of platonic family unit life.   Although it was a TV story non realistically doable in existent life, I love the sweetness interactions depicted between parents and boys.   I can't imagine that I haven't seen every episode several times over years and years of re-runs.   It is withal something I volition sit downward and watch.

Oh, and it is much funnier to me now that I take three boys.

I dearest how Barbara played June Cleaver with a gentle, unflappable spirit even in the midst of off-spring chaos...and Eddie Haskell.

She always seemed in the know and in on the joke.

I love this quote from her responding to a question about the Cleaver family:

"I just wish that nosotros could take more families similar those. Family unit is so important, and I simply don't think we have enough people staying home with their babies and their children."
